THIS YEAR UMA BELUN LEO DIAN WILL HAVE DO LEDOH & DO KAYO ON THE 3.06.2011 & 5.06.2011
Do Ledoh is a day of harvest celebration for Kayan people and most likely celebrating by the Bungan people. However, i'm looking this do Ledoh and Do Kayo is one of the culture that inherited by the ancestor. Even though nowadays, a lot of Kayan peole being a christian, including me myself, but at our Kampung, still have this Do Ledoh and Do Kayo. This celebration is planned in yearly activities for our kampung in just an activity for us to gather and celebrating the end of harvest season.
I could not writing too much regarding on celebration and, i'll post some photos for some view on the day..
i;m trying to get information regarding on the day from my grandpa.. and if possible...i'll blog it out once i get it..
